The People's Panel
To improve ongoing public input into Council strategy, Nelson City Council established an email based People’s Panel.
The Panel provides an opportunity for Nelson residents to have their say on a range of issues and provide a public pulse take for future policies and decisions.
Depending on the subject of the survey, the information contained in the survey responses may be used by Councillors and Council staff to help guide future decisions for our city.
Council has a large database of over 1,000 residents who make up the People’s Panel. New members are randomly selected by an independent research company.
