What we are doing

As part of ongoing infrastructure improvements in this area, Council is upgrading the stormwater drain along the Railway Reserve from the vicinity of Standish Place to Saxton Road West.  This drain discharges into existing pipes in Saxton Road West. This work will also include improvements to the secondary (overland) flow path for flood water.

Why we are doing it

The project aims to improve on the existing discharge to soakage in this area and alleviate localised flooding currently being experienced.

Duration

Work is scheduled to start in early March and should take around 12 weeks to complete, subject to any weather delays.
