Official Opening of China Week and Art Exhibition Opening (Private Event)
The official opening of China Week and the opening of the Rewi Alley and Art Exhibition.
Rewi Alley (2 December 1897 – 27 December 1987), was a New Zealand-born writer, educator, political activist, revolutionary, social reformer, potter, and member of the Communist Party of China. He is remembered for contributing perhaps more than any other non-Chinese person to the Chinese Revolution.
The Exhibition in the Trafalgar Centre Northern End will feature photographs of Rewi Alley and also Chinese Artworks from local artists. It will be open to the public for the week of 7-11 November, from 10am to 4pm
