An innovative live drawing and sound project by artists Erica Duthie and Struan Ashby. The temporary mural celebrates Rosaline Frank (NZ's first female professional photographer) as she ventured around Nelson capturing the local discoveries of the day as part of the prominent Tyree Photography Studio. Enjoy watching historic scenes as they are breathed back to life by the imagination of this internationally successful artists and you maybe be drawn into their unique participatory performances. With musical soundscapes that will evoke the rustic ambiance of the rollicking gold-mining period. Created and performed live on the windows of the Nelson Provincial Museum this quirky piece will build and unfold over the weekend 15-17 April, with the full work evident on Saturday the 16th April.

Artists on site 10am-5pm (15,16 April); 1pm-3pm (17 April) and mural will be taken down 4pm on 18 April. A talk by the artists will be held at the Museum at 3pm Monday 18 April
