Temporary Road Closure - Bridge Street

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Fulton Hogan to temporarily close the following road to ordinary traffic for one day between the dates listed below: 

Bridge Street – Milton Street to Tasman Street

Date and time of when the one-day closure may occur: Wednesday 15 November 7:00am to Wednesday 15 November 6:00pm 2023.

Contingency dates and times of when the one-day closure may occur:

Thursday 9 November to Wednesday 20 December 2023. Closed for one day between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. 

The closure is for resealing the road. Updates regarding when work will take place will be updated on Shape.Nelson.govt.nz.   

Delays are likely. Vehicle access for residents, couriers and home help will be available where possible. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal.  

Pedestrian access will be provided.
