Temporary Road Closure - Hardy Street

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Downer to temporarily close the following road/s to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:

Hardy Street - both sides of the intersection with Rutherford Street

Date and time of scheduled closure: Sunday 14 July 2024 – 9:00 am to 11:00 pm and Monday 15 July to Thursday 18 July 2024 – 6:00 pm to 3:00 am (Nightworks)

The closure is for trenching across the full lane width for a traffic signal upgrade.

Vehicle access for businesses/residents, couriers and home help will be available where possible. Delays are likely. No roadside parking will be available. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal and pedestrian access will be provided.
