Proposed Temporary Road Closure - Arapiki Road
Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Fulton Hogan to temporarily close the following road/s to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:
Arapiki Road - Between no.1 and no.12
Date and time of scheduled closure: Wednesday 14 August to Thursday 15 August 2024 – 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Contingency dates and times when closure may occur: Monday 19 August to Friday 23 August 2024 – 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
The closure is for Pre-seal Repairs.
Vehicle access for residents/businesses, couriers and home help will be available from The Ridgeway end of Arapiki Road. Delays are possible. No roadside parking will be available between no.1 and no.12. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal (with access from The Ridgeway end) and pedestrian access will be provided safely.
To understand how this closure could impact residents/businesses, Council is seeking feedback on this proposal by 12 August 2024.

The decision on whether the road will be closed will be advertised on the Council's website, www.nelson.govt.nz. Residents/ businesses in the affected areas will also be informed via a letterbox drop.
