Temporary Road Closure - Beachville Crescent

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Nelmac & Fulton Hogan to temporarily close the following road to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:

Beachville Crescent 

UPDATE - WORK DELAYED UNTIL MONDAY 27 JANUARY 

- between no.32 and no.63 (27 January)

- from the Stanley Crescent intersection to no.32 (27 to 31 January)

Date and time of scheduled closure: Monday 27 January to Friday 31 January 2025 – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Contingency dates and times when closure may occur: Monday 3 February to Friday 7 February 2025 – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

The closure is for:   

1. wastewater system maintenance (Nelmac)
2. sump repairs (Fulton Hogan) 

Vehicle access for residents/businesses, couriers and home help will be available – please follow the directions of onsite staff. Delays are possible. Roadside parking will be available – except within the work zones. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal and pedestrian access will be provided safely.
