Tempoaray Road Closure - Main Road Stoke
Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Downer NZ to temporarily close the following road to ordinary traffic on the dates listed below:
Main Road Stoke – between Elms Street and Salisbury Road
Date and time of scheduled closures: Thursday 30 June to Thursday 7 July 2022. Closed between 7:30pm and 6:00am.
There will be two stages of work:
Stage 1
Thursday 30 June 2022 – The closure is to reinstate the road with asphalt and remove the bollards.
Stage 2
Monday 4 July to Thursday 7 July 2022 - The closure is to line mark the road.
Vehicle through access will be unavailable. Bus access and urgent business access will be available. There is a detour in place for cyclists and pedestrians as shown on the map below.
