Temporary Road Closure - Bronte Street

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Nelmac to temporarily close the following road to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:

Bronte Street – between number 24 and number 28

Date and time of scheduled closure: Saturday 27 May to Sunday 28 May 2023.  Closed between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Contingency date and time: Saturday 10 June to Sunday 11 June 2023.  Closed between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

The closure is to repair a leak on the water main.  

Delays are likely. Vehicle access for residents, couriers and home help will be available where possible.

Pedestrian access will be provided.

The decision on whether the road will be closed will be advertised on the Council's website, www.nelson.govt.nz. Residents will also be informed via a letterbox drop.
