Temporary Road Closure - Hampden Street
Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Higgins Contractors to temporarily close the following road to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:
Hampden Street – between Ngatitama Street and Ronaki Terrace
Date and time of scheduled closure: Monday 14 Febraury to Friday 25 February 2022. Closed all day and all night.
Contingency date and time: Friday 25 February to Friday 11 March 2022. Closed all day and all night.
The closure is for renewing the footpath and installing new driveway crossings.
Vehicle access to residents, rubbish collection vehicles and home help will be available where possible, however, delays are likely. Pedestrian access will be provided.
Some on street parking will still be available for residents.
Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal.
