Temporary Road Closure - Moana Avenue

Nelson City Council is proposing to temporarily close the following road to ordinary traffic on the dates listed below: 

Moana Avenue – between number 134 and number 143 

Date and time of scheduled closure: To be confirmed.  This closure will remain in place until the assessment and stabilisation of nearby slips is completed.  

Note: this closure is likely to continue through to early 2023 when approved. 

The road will be closed all day and all night to vehicular traffic during this time. Pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to travel through the closure area.  

The closure is for public safety while the slip risk is assessed and stabilised.  

The road will be closed to through traffic, access will be available to residents either side of the closure.
