Temporary Road Closures - Milton Street - UPDATED DATES

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Downer to temporarily close the following road to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below: 

Milton Street – between Bridge Street and Halifax Street 

UPDATED Date and time of scheduled closure: 7:00am Monday 9 January to 6:00pm 16 January 2023.  Closed all day and all night.    

The closure is for the upgrade of the underground power network.   
Delays are likely. Vehicle access for residents, couriers and home help will be available where possible.  
Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal.  
Parking will be made available.
