Transport Infrastructure Procurement Strategy 2022-25

This Transport Procurement Strategy has been developed to ensure Council delivers the desired outcomes with the funding and it is a requirement of Waka Kotahi.

Council will spend approximately $19M - $27M per year on transport activities (capital/ renewals and maintenance) for the next three years, with 51% (being the current FAR rate) of this spend coming from the National Land Transport Fund (NLTF).

This Strategy is an important part of the framework to secure more transport investment in the future. The transport programme is forecast to grow over the next 10 years.
