The Field Guide project is the result of collaboration between Council, Cawthron Institute and Media Design students from Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.

Healthy Streams publishes a regular page in the Nelson Leader, showcasing what is happening in our Healthy Streams programmes.

The Nelson North community is partnering with Council and the NZ Landcare Trust, in a project that aims to restore the health of the Wakapuaka River and strengthen community connections in the area.

Activities that disturb the land must be adequately controlled to avoid sediment ending up in infrastructure and waterways.

Council has produced a brochure explaining how to wash your paintbrushes without polluting our rivers and streams.

Project Maitai is a 4-year project, working in partnership with Iwi, the community and key agencies in the region, to improve the water quality of the Maitai / Mahitahi River.
