From 15 April 2024 we aim to have the office open 8.30am to 5pm Tuesday and Thursday and 8.30am to 12pm on Fridays (except public holidays).

No mobile phone reception, no en-suites, no frills – a stay at Brook Valley Holiday Park is a genuine chance to get back to basics.
Our Holiday Park is perfect for families needing to escape the daily demands of life, or for school groups and reunions. It’s an ideal location for campers, walkers and mountain bikers who will enjoy being on the doorstep of some of the best historic walks, challenging trails, and spectacular vistas in the Nelson area. Please note that no dogs are allowed.

Facilities
Choose a leafy, sheltered site for your tent or camper van, bring your bedding and book into a basic cabin, or pile into one of our retro-style cabins with a well-equipped kitchen.
Shared facilities include:
- Basic camp kitchen
- Toilets
- Token operated showers
- Wi-Fi access – Free 500MB Wi-Fi per person per 24 hours
- Laundry tokens $5

How to Get There
The Holiday Park is a five-minute drive to the end of Brook Street. A regular bus service on weekdays and Saturdays provides easy transport between the campground and Nelson’s markets, restaurants and shops.
If you have more time on your hands, an easy stroll into town takes around 30 - 40 minutes, or you can hire a bike locally, and explore more of Nelson.
