Elected Members (Mayor and Councillors)

The Nelson City Council is elected every three years. The current Council was appointed in the local government elections in October 2022. The next elections will take place in 2025.

Council is comprised of the Mayor and 12 Councillors who represent the residents of Nelson. Contact details for each elected official can be found below, or you can also send an email to the Mayor and all councillors collectively at councillors@ncc.govt.nz.
