An Orange heavy rain warning has been issued for Nelson this Thurs 3 April. Prepare for heavy rainfall and the possibility of rapidly rising rivers, streams and surface flooding. Please keep gutters and drains on your property clear. We will share updates here and on our Facebook page.

Free Public Dump Stations

There are two free public dump stations in Nelson: NPD on St Vincent St and Mobil Tahunanui.

A number of free dump stations are also available in the Tasman District. See the Tasman District Council website for an interactive map.

A number of local campgrounds also have dump stations for the use of paid guests.

Recycling

Recycling can be disposed of for free at the Pascoe St Transfer Station.
