Nelson City Councils Arts Team administer a partnership grant scheme to support individuals and groups to deliver activity that supports either (idealy both) the Taonga Tuku Iho and He Tatai Whetu- Whakatū Arts and Creativity Strategy
The point of difference with this fund is there is no closing date. Applications open on 1st of July each year and are then considered by a NCC staff led panel on a first come, first served basis. 50% of all the funding available is dedicated to either Toi Māori for Taonga Tuku iho Māori activity
