Council committees and appointments
The purpose of Liaison Councillors is to improve the communications and
relationship between these distinct communities and the Nelson City Council. It
is intended as a two way engagement where the Councillor will be a point of
contact for particular community issues, and that the Councillor will also be a
conduit for communicating the Council’s perspective and policies.
