Temporary Road Closure - Manuka Street Ford

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Weave Traffic Management to temporarily close the following road/s to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:

Manuka Street Ford

Date and time of scheduled closure: Monday 19 August to Friday 30 August 2024 – 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Contingency dates and times when closure may occur: Included – the closure will be for 1-2 days only – open at night. (weather dependent)  

The closure is for pipe repair (the pipe that is attached to the Ford was damaged during a recent weather event)

Vehicle access across the Ford for residents/ businesses, couriers and home help will not be available during the day (it will be open at night from 6:00 pm). No roadside parking will be available. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal.
