Temporary Road Closure - Tresillian Avenue

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Weaver Traffic Management to temporarily close the following road/s to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:

Tresillian Avenue - at the Jackson Street & Wastney Terrace Intersection

Date and time of scheduled closure: Wednesday 21 August to Friday 30 August 2024 – 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Contingency dates and times when closure may occur: Included – the closure will take place over 5 days only (weather dependent) and will not be in place over weekends/evenings.

The closure is for new service connections for water/electricity, and driveway crossings.

Vehicle access for residents/businesses, couriers and home help will be available. Delays are likely. Roadside parking will be very limited within the work area. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal and pedestrian access will be provided either via the footpath or via being safely escorted through the worksite.
