Packaging Forum Soft Plastics Kerbside Collection Trial

This will be run by the Forum with their own collectors, and is not part of Council’s kerbside collection scheme. Only a limited number of households will be invited to take part. Please note that soft plastics never go in the yellow lid recycling bin.

Letters will be going out to selected households (based on existing recycling routes) at the end of August.

The Packaging Forum is running this trial on behalf of the packaging industry. The purpose of the trial is to test whether a kerbside collection would significantly increase the volumes collected in comparison to their successful supermarket drop off programme.
